Make Your MeetUp a Success -- and Make History in the Process!
Before the MeetUp:
- Make a donation to DraftWesleyClark.com.
Help us pay to keep the MeetUps going (even a few dollars helps). Yes,
we're begging. Pleeeeeaaaaaase.
- Contact local media (TV, newspapers, radio, etc.) once your location
is confirmed, and tell them that a local "Draft Wesley Clark" chapter
will be meeting if they want to cover it (be polite, and be brief).
- Find an
Associated Press bureau near you, and do the same.
- Bring a camera, with plenty of film (even better - bring a digital
camera)
At the MeetUp:
- Meet and Greet: Give your backgrounds, and say what drew you to the
meeting;
- Discuss what you can do to help increase awareness and support for
General Clark in your own community
- Choose a local DraftWesleyClark.com contact
- "The Draft Heard Across America!" At 8:04 ("20:04" in
military/international time), raise a glass to toast the success of the
DraftWesleyClark.com movement (use "draft" beer or root beer, or the
beverage of your choice).
- Take LOTS of pictures
After the MeetUp:
- Have the local contact email a 3 or 4 sentence summary of the
meeting (selected ones will be posted on the DraftWesleyClark.com web
site).
- Upload pictures asap at Clark2004.MeetUp.com
- Get back to work. :)
